"Applied Family Therapy" is a closed-ended, anonymous, and open-access scientific journal published by the Psychology and Counseling Department of the "Iranian Association for Women's Studies" as the country's top specialized scientific association in the fields of: premarital marriage, children, adolescents, and other areas of family counseling and psychology.

In order to provide easy and universal access to the latest research findings, this journal has been established as a free access scientific journal. The Journal of Applied Family Therapy is published in both print and online editions.
